Our Response to the New York State Board of
Elections Proposed Draft Regulations for Voting System Standards Here, in pdf format [1.4mb] is a copy of the testimony of prominent computer scientist and voting technology expert Doug Jones of the University of Iowa, regarding the draft regulations, submitted to the NYS Board of Elections on January 23. Here, in pdf format [~228kb], you will find New Yorkers for Verified Voting, "Response to the New York State Board of Elections Proposed Draft of Subtitle V of Title 9 of the Official Compilation of Codes, Rules and Regulations of the State of New York Part 6209 – Voting System Standards." Pages 2 and 3 of this document provide an outlined summary of "Introduction and Goals" and "Needed Improvements to the Draft Voting System Standards," as well as a description of the subsequent document layout.
